Kyiv Walking Tours

At ScootKyiv, we believer our scooter trips are the best way to get your city bearings. However, our scooters can’t take you everywhere in the city or you may want to explore somewhere not on one of our routes. This is when a walking tour becomes a really good alternative. You can take in Kyiv at a slower pace whilst being informed by a really knowledgeable guide.

We have personally met with and taken a tour with the following guides so are happy to give our recommendations to you. Each has their own specialism so we leave you to choose your favourite.

Please contact us if you have any questions - we are always happy to chat :)

Sofia Hrabovetska started "Walk&Talk" in 2016 and has shown her native city to adventurers more than 600 times over this time.

While walking with her, guests can treat themselves to Kyiv cake, buy paintings, bargain in the markets and occasionally have even proposed marriage. Her Tours include: “Kyiv - The First Visit”, “The Big Walk” and “Incredible Podil” amongst many others.

In 2017, Sofia was rated one of the three best Kyiv guides according to Kyiv Tourism Awards and was an official guide of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 from the "Interesting Kyiv" tour bureau. She now mentors at the Interesting Kyiv's Workshop guide school.

Sophia now co-ordinates a team of 10 other professional Kyiv guides so will be guaranteed to have someone who suits your requirements.

Awesome Kyiv

Hello! My name is Alina. I am 25. y.o. I’m a guide, blogger and photographer, creator of Awesome Kyiv Tours, where I am constantly exploring my city: its history & modern life, its contrasts, alternative spots, hidden gems, cafes, bars, architecture, urban decay, backyards, its awesome and awful sides, and, most importantly, showing it to others.

Do not expect a huge company full of guides here. It’s just me, really. It’s a blog of a guide who cannot imagine her life without this city and making others explore it together with me.

My main interests are: photography, urban studies, architecture, history & modern life and discovering new places.

Alina’s tours are not the standard city tours and you will find hidden and unexpected delights on her “Awesome Kyiv”, “Awful Kyiv” and “Backyards Kyiv” tours.
